B.A. Physical Education
Laura Sederberg is one of the people we have been able to entice away from corporate industry to join our team. She worked as Master Trainer for WebCT, a national company specializing in online training software. WebCT software continues to play a vital part in our online course delivery system. Through Laura's efforts our campus became home to the only WebCT Institute in northern California.
After joining our team, Laura was instrumental in developing the model for exemplary online instruction recognized nationwide, called the Rubric for Online Instruction. She has also been a key player in the development and presentation of faculty technology training, workshops, and symposiums, locally, regionally and nationally. She is a member of the committee that awards funding for the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) grants and for the Learning and Productivity Project (LPP) grants.
Laura also manages the Technology and Learning Program, which includes a faculty lab for the development of course-based technology. In this role she supervises a staff of several Instructional Technology Consultants and is involved in the development of many online courses.
Laura Sederberg also teaches university level courses in marketing and promotion for online and print media.
