Chris Ficken began his career as a graphic designer and illustrator with clients as diverse as Coleman camping gear and PG&E.

Shortly after joining our staff, Chris became a key player in purchasing a state-of-the-art proprietary Dubner Computer Graphics system from the ABC Television Network. With that system in place, the IMC Computer Graphics and Animation studio was off and running. (And it hasn't been idle a moment since!)

Under Chris Ficken's direction the studio has grown into a full-service high-end production facility with a stellar reputation for excellent work throughout the state.

As supervisor of four units of IMC, Chris oversees Computer Graphics and Animation, Graphic Design, Print Services, and Photography.

A gifted artist and inspiring teacher, Chris Ficken is one of the most popular instructors in the Department of Communication and Design at California State University, Chico. In addition, he teaches workshops on creativity and design throughout the state.
